Fund the Fun Recess Run

Plainfield Elementary School is committed to offering a variety of free after-school
programs for our children. Our goal is to keep our children healthy by keeping
them active. Many of you have supported our programs by allowing your children
to participate in the Fun and Fit Program; now we are asking for you to help
support our programs by participating in our Fall Recess Run. We are fortunate
that many foundations have provided grant money for us in the past, but we
cannot depend on their contributions alone. We need to become self-sufficient
in the future. This year all money raised by the Recess Run will fund future after-
school activities here at Plainfield.
How can you help?
1. Ask friends and family members to support your child’s after-school
program; don’t go door to door.
2. Sponsor a child with a pledge per lap, or a flat donation for participating
in the event.
3. Return all donations to the school office by Friday, October 20th
Please make all checks payable to the Pen Argyl Area School District
4. The child who raises the most sponsorship funding in each classroom will
have lunch with Mr. G during the first week of November.
